Started with water skiing in 1972.  Progressed to competitive racing in 1973 & finished 3^rd Monohull National Championship.

Followed by podium finishes through to 1978 then became British Champion.

Also winner Dutch Grand Prix (sponsored by Phillips) 1982 British Champion
