I had a fabulous day on 8th August driving the Hydroplanes (so sorry it has taken me so long to sing your praises!!) I was a bit of a nervous driver to begin with but everyone was so supportive and encouraging I was up there with the best of them by lunchtime! I still can’t believe the guys just held back and made the girlies go first!!
Although it was only me taking part, my whole family was made to feel really welcome and included in the day. So much so that Emily and Connor even got to have their own little tour around the lake on their own private boat – that made my day – I haven’t seen Emily laugh so much in ages!
Charlotte and Peter thank you for making my day so special, you are a lovely family. x
One word to describe our day with Charlotte and her team – FANTASTIC !!!!!!! From the moment we stepped from the car we were treated like family. Welcomed with a friendly hug and a cup of coffee – we just knew we were in for a brill day.
Dolly, Minnie, ( they are our Shih Tzu’s and also made very welcome ) and i were not taking part in the water activities, but went along for the day and to cheer Philip on, but from the onset we were made to feel like part of the group.
Philip took part in all of the ‘Water Experiences’ and loved them all, the instruction, supervision and ultimate thrill of the ride, surpassed all his expectations……… Although part of a group ( albeit small today, to our advantage though ) this felt like a personal experience to him instead of being herded around as part of package as we have experienced with other ‘experience days’ .
We had a lovely lunch and were very surprised to be told that at the end of the day, a tea also had been laid on, during which a little presentation ceremony took place – again personal and with great humour, which ALL the team attended and stayed until we left for our journey home.
I could go on and on, but less is more i think. Again thankyou Charlotte and we WILL be seeing you again for sure.

I thought all the instructors were extremely professional and committed, but at the same time very relaxed and “human”. In particular I was impressed by Pete’s briefing, which was clear and concise and full of enthusiasm, despite the fact he must have said it all hundreds of times before. I also enjoyed watching others try out the boats and was frustrated not to be able to join in!! …… perhaps next year…..?

Just to reiterate my thanks for the hard work everyone put in yesterday. You had a difficult time with unusual mechanical gremlins, but everyone worked hard to overcome them and stayed late to ensure we all had the chance to enjoy the complete programme.
I must say I am glad we did, all of it was great but the “cat” was definitely my favourite and I would have hated to have missed out on that.
The food was superb, boats were fantastic and instruction first class. I will certainly recommend the day to my colleagues.

Every one was friendly, helpful and seemed remarkably patient when being asked the same questions time and time again as we each gained in confidence with the various boats and wanted to know more and more about how to lap the course faster.
I hope to visit you again in the near future but I have a awful suspicion that I’m already hooked – in spite of all the bruises I found the next morning !

I have been on a number of experience days and have to say by far this was the best one yet! Not just the activity itself (which was amazing!) but also each person was given a personal experience and not just treated as just another number in the pack! Definitely top marks and will be recommending and organising another day for next year!
What makes a great experience day is the activity itself, but what made this a truly memorable experience day was the blend of an exhilirating activity and the fantastic team hosting the event.
Without doubt the best, friendliest, expert team of people you’ll ever meet especially Big Pete, Little Pete and ex UK, European and World Champion Charlotte (but the rest of the team were JUST as amazing).
